Pot Life The period of time during which you can work without a change in viscosity after resin and hardener are mixed.
Tack Free The state of hardening in which you can lightly touch the mixed resin with your hand, but the hardened material does not stick.
Hardening Time the time it takes for the mixed resin to be hardened enough to realize about 80% of final mechanical strength.

Coating work should be avoided when the site temperature is out of 5℃℃ ~ 30℃℃ range or its humidity is over 85%. Coating work should be avoided when concrete is wet or condensed or polymerized with more than 10% water content. To avoid condensation of water, coating surface temperature should be more than 3℃℃ higher than dew point and its relative temperature should be under 85%. Surface preparation
Remove or grind the concrete surface contaminants (weathered area, laitance, parting agent, ripped off part, cement pasting, painted layer, etc.) with an electric grinder, etc. If needed, restore cuts and repair the cracked parts by injecting or filling epoxy resin. Mixing of epoxy resin
Use a disposable mixing bucket and a distribution bucket, or otherwise, reuse them after cleaning them with solvent until use confirm that they get clean. Place the main material and the hardener of disposable carbon fiber primer on a mixing bucket by the weight ratio of 2:1. Mix them by using an electric mixer for about 2~3 minutes until you see the color of the mixture becomes even. Mixing of the main material and the hardener of primer for base coat is very important. You need to pay a close attention especially when mixing around the wall or bottom of the mixing bucket. (Pay close attention during the work since poor mixing or mixing rate may cause a pseudo stiffening that may make stiffening impossible.) Base coat work of carbon fiber adhesive resin
over the target surface using a roller coater. Coating volume, though differs by the, the condition of work surface, is generally 250g/㎡ Coat the primer additionally on the area where primer's infiltration volume is large after the coated primer is completely dried. Dews can be found on the surface where too much primer is coated. In case dews appear, remove them before the primer is hardened by using a roller coater, etc. Works from starting of primer mixing to the coating should be finished within its usable time. If more power is needed because the temperature of mixed resin for base coat gets higher or its viscosity increases, it is an indication that its hardening time is over. Stop the work and dispose the remainder. A roller coater cannot be used again by cleaning it with solvent. Therefore, you need to prepare enough roller coasters. All the equipments and tools that are used for this operation should be cleaned when the operation is finished. Detergent such as M.E.K, Acetone, Xylene, Toluene and epoxy thinner should be used when cleaning. If the Foam is smeared on your skin during the performance, wash it immediately with flowing water.- When you treating medical fluid, make sure you wear protective helmet, goggle clothes and other protective devices.
- All the hand tools and equipments that are used for this operation should be cleaned with thinner thoroughly.
- Never fail to abide by the designated mixture ratio, for it is the dual component type of the main material and the hardener.
- Acceleration or deceleration of the hardening speed through a random increase or decrease of the hardener will cause greatly reduce the post hardening properties.
- If the medical fluid is smeared on your skin and causes skin trouble, then you should go see Specialist for prescription.
- Mix the volume only that you can use up within the pot life.
- Pay attention to the fact that the Reaction speed of mixed resin becomes fast when the temperature is high or its volume is large, and slow when the temperature is low or its volume is small.
- If you are working in sealed room, then make sure to conduct constraint ventilation for clean air.Recommended temperature for storage is 10~25℃with no moisture. Store it in cool area. Storing period is about 6 months in sealed condition however it can be corrupted according to storing area and conditions. Preferably use it as soon as possible.
